Okay, I don't actually sparkle.
Sorry if that's disappointing.

But I'm still interesting. I promise.

Before my time at Thinkful began this past August, I’ve been a baker, a canvasser, and a lot more. This year I decided to pursue a new path, and chose UX/UI design as my focus. I am so glad I did. Compared to my past professional and educational experiences, this field feels like a breath of fresh air. I've always been fascinated by the intersection between science and art, critical and creative thinking. My experiences in user experience design so far have shown me that it's necessary to use both modes of thinking on a daily basis. And because there are so many different roles within UX & UI, I feel assured that there will always be an opportunity for me to learn something new and grow.

In the future, I plan to use design to improve people’s lives as directly as possible. This could mean advocating for those without a voice, enabling and strengthening human connections, adding delight to someone's day, or a million other things. My dream is that I’ll be able to use design to empower people working for social justice.
I’m open to work! If you’d like to get in touch or see a bit more about my professional experience and history, check out the links below. Looking forward to hearing from you!
When I'm not designing I'm thinking about...

music 🎹

I write, record, mix, and master music in my spare time. You can find some of my work here on my Bandcamp.

my cat 🐈

My spouse and I have the sweetest cat to have ever existed, and her name is Lady. She’s the wind beneath my wings.

video games 🤖

I spend some of my free time playing video games like Valheim, Star Wars Squadrons, and more with friends. I like to think it keeps my brain sharp.
